Campus Ministry
Service
In the Gospels, Jesus calls his followers to love God and neighbor through action. The Christian Service Program at 足球买球 introduces students to the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy by offering students the opportunity to volunteer in the local community.
足球买球 prepares students to lead, achieve, and serve. Campus Ministry participates in this mission through supporting student growth through service opportunities. There are three opportunities that all 足球买球 students are required to participate in:
Freshman Year
Students will work in groups as a part of the Freshman Theology Class to sponsor a child during the Advent season and purchase toys through a collaboration with Catholic Charities.
Sophomore Year
Students will participate in a Sophomore Service Day in which they are introduced to the Corporal Works of Mercy, and will have the opportunity to serve at one to two sites in the local community. Students can participate either in the summer before Sophomore year or during the school year.
Junior Year
Christian Service Project: The Christian Service Project helps students to develop the habit of putting their Christian faith into action while growing in understanding and compassion for others. Junior students are required to complete 30 hours of service at one service site.
