Each year 足球买球 has the privilege of honoring several members of its extended community, who by living the 足球买球 tradition of excellence in all that they do, exemplify the Dominican charism and what it means to be a 买球APP-for-Life.
The Institutional Advancement Department sponsors three main awards and actively solicits nominations for consideration of 足球买球 community members—alumni, parents, past parents, faculty and staff, Dominicans, other friends and volunteers—to be honored with the following:

Hall of Fame
Each year two to five members of the 足球买球 community who exemplify the values and traditions of 足球买球 and achieve at the highest levels of their chosen field of endeavor are inducted into the 足球买球 Hall of Fame. Lumen Tranquillum
Each year one member of the 足球买球 community is recognized for being a "quiet light" for his or her outstanding work with children and young adults throughout their exemplary career. The Torch Award
This award is presented annually at the Pass the Torch golf outing to the matriarch or patriarch of a family with deep, multi-generational ties to 足球买球. The Accipiter Award
In addition to the institutional awards presented by 足球买球, the 足球买球 Bar Association annually honors one of its members with the Accipiter Award.
The Accipiter Award was first presented in 1997 as a way to honor members of the 足球买球 community who have distinguished themselves in the legal profession. "Accipiter" is a Latin word meaning "hawk." The award was named in honor of Fr. Joseph Hren, O.P., longtime teacher of Latin at 足球买球APP. Fr. Hren often was known among students as The Hawk for his devotion to detail and accuracy and his love for Latin, the language of the Law.
